                                          Information and communication technologies 

                                                   ICTs that can be used in school: 

1. iPad: Many schools already use iPads. These tools are very useful and necessary because in the real world most jobs use either cellphones or iPads. The use of iPads is important to learn an effective use of them that will be handy when people get a job. Also iPads are used to look for information quickly and schools can have the books in electronic instead of paper. 
2. Algebraix: It is an app that lets allows the communication between parents, students and teachers. Teachers can post work or homework and students can access it. Teachers can send a message to parents. Tutors or coordinators can also send messages or announcement to students, parents or both. Teachers upload weekly grades of works or quizzes as well as attendance. 
3. Showbie: It is an app in which teachers can publish PDFs and you can answer them. When the teacher publishes a document when you open it Showbie gives you the option to write on the document or download it to somewhere else. You can also send messages to your teachers. Also when the teacher uploads an activity he/she can put a limit of time in which you can upload the activity and if it’s not on time it will put a red clock on the document and your teacher will know you uploaded late. 
4. Edmodo: It is a very useful app that has various tools that can help improve the teaching methods. In edmodo you create and account and your teacher will give you a classroom code, you put it and instantly you’re in so every activity that is uploaded on your classroom you can access it. You can also send messages. 
5. Dropbox: It is another app in which your teacher can upload PDFs or documents. When you enter Dropbox there are many files so for example you enter the one that says English class, then it could appear to you many teachers names and you open the one that is your teacher and then it will appear the documents the teacher uploaded. 
6. Computer: In school using computers is really important. It is important to learn how to use a computer because a lot of us only know how to use a cellphone or an iPad. With the computer you can access the internet through a browser. A computer also has programs like word, excel, PowerPoint which help you to do presentations, or works. 
7. Goodnotes: It is an app that you can use to write. When you open it you can create electronic notebooks. In the notebooks you can change the type of page and you can write with a stylus or create a text box and write with the keyboard. You can download document or files to goodnotes and answer it there. You can also export a goodnotes document to other app. 
8. Pages: It is an app that allows you to make documents. You can add images, videos, or even audio. You can change the type of word, the color and the size. You could also use a template. This is useful in schools because you can do a lot of works here and for formal works it is better this app than others. You can export the document you made to other apps or print it.

My personal opinion: 

I think ICTs in school are very important. They help improve studying methods and make doing activities so much more fun and easy. It is also important because when you go to a job you should know how to use a cellphone, iPad, computer or laptop to do work and use them effectively. Using ICTs make learning fun and much useful depending on what you decide to study.
